How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?

There will be 4 winners determined in respect of this competition – 2 x minor winners, 1 x major winner and 1 x people’s choice winner.

This is a game of creativity and skill. Chance plays no part in how the winners will be selected.

Determination of Shortlisted Entrants and Major Prize Winner

A judging panel appointed by the Associated Organisation will review each valid entry and will judge the entries based on the following criteria to determine the winners:

  • creativity and originality; and

  • emotional impact.

The Associated Organisation reserves the right to shortlist, verify and publicly announce entries during the judging process. Shortlisted entrants are not entitled to a prize, unless they are subsequently deemed a winner by the judging panel. The Judging Panel will shortlist up to 20 entries.

The valid entry judged by the judging panel to be the best will win the major prize.  The next 2 best valid entries will each win a minor prize.

All judging decisions are as determined by the Promoter and the Associated Organisation, in their discretion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. If there are no suitable entries submitted, the Associated Organisation reserves the right not to select a winner.

The Associated Organisation may record additional reserve entries in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).

For the avoidance of doubt, shortlisted entrants may be invited to attend the Event, however any costs relating to travel, flights, transfers and accommodation will be the responsibility of the entrant.

Determination of People’s Choice Winner and Voting Entry instructions

Anyone in attendance can view the entries at the Event and during the Voting Period cast their vote on which entry they think has the most creativity, originality; and emotional impact. Each person in attendance will only be permitted to vote once.

Determination of People’s Choice Winner

At the end of the Voting Period, the entry that receives the most eligible votes (in accordance with the Voting Instructions above) will be deemed the People’s Choice winner.

In the event of a tie breaker (2 or more valid entries receive the same highest number of votes), the judging panel will review and judge each valid tied entry to determine the overall People’s Choice winner.

  • an entry cannot win both a major and minor prize; and
